A Versatile Voice in Sports Broadcasting
Mike Trico is set to become the lead play-by-play voice for NBC Sports’ NBA coverage when the network reclaims broadcasting rights for the 2025-26 season. This marks a return to NBA commentary for Tirico, who previously called games for ESPN from 2002 to 2016.
Starting this October, Tirico’s NBA coverage will air on NBC and Peacock, bringing his signature style to basketball fans across the country.
