FUJIFILM Australia is celebrating 20 years of making it easier for Australians to take and share photos. Since 2004, they’ve focused on bringing great technology and products to the market.
FUJIFILM Australia has been around for over 70 years, first known as Hanimex Pty Ltd. In 2004, it joined the FUJIFILM Group and has grown into a company that offers digital imaging, printing, and medical technologies.
FUJIFILM is helping improve healthcare in Australia. Sydney now has the first Fujifilm Open MRI machine, and the new AI-powered Amulet Sophinity mammography system was recently installed—the first time it’s been used outside Japan.
In the early 2000s, FUJIFILM switched to digital, launching cameras and printers that improved image quality. Their newest models, the X-M5 and GFX100S II, are perfect for content creators and photographers.
FUJIFILM Australia is helping the environment by using recycled paper for Instax packaging, collecting water from the roof at the Melbourne factory, and picking up rubbish near offices. In 2024, the team has already collected 961kg of rubbish.
Fujifilm is celebrating 90 years in 2024 with a new mission: “Giving Our World More Smiles.” FUJIFILM Australia was named one of The Australian’s top 10 Best Places to Work. Thank you to everyone—customers, partners, and employees—for your support. We’re excited for what’s next!
